April 3rd, the chairman of CMMP Hu Jun and his party did a deep research about the development situation of Maoming Port Operation Co., Ltd. After realizing the problems in the company’s development, Chairman Hu did deployments in business development, company management and port upgrading. The vice-Chairman Luo Dafang, general managers of departments and the leaders of the operation company took part in the colloquium.
During the colloquium, the deputy general manager Chen Xiang did a brief work report. In the first quarter, each operation indicator grew steadily. The cargoes loaded and unloaded reached 360000 tons, realized a growth of 3% yearonyear. The operating revenue reached RMB 6565500 yuan, realized a growth of 1.7% yearonyear. What is more, the repurchase of the property rights of the 16 ton crane had been done. The disposal of idle assets and the purchasing of port equipments were underway. Moreover, building and completing the manage system to improve work efficiency and increase economic benefit were also in progress.
After debriefing the work report, Chairman Hu gave credit for the performance in the first quarter. Hu Jun pointed out that Maoming Port Operation Co., Ltd, as the fresh troops of CMMP in the part of producing and operating, has a broad space for development.
He demanded the company should obey three principles. The first one is fighting to advance the annual core work and improve the terminal function by taking full advantage of the group company’s resources. The second one is optimizing the constitution and perfecting the internal work processes to improve the manage level. The third one is to build an outstanding team, to establish an advances outlook on talent and to perfect human resources management system. |
